Reserve Your Puppy:

• Once we hear from an interested customer we respond as quickly as we can. We know your time is valuable and choosing a puppy takes thought and lots of questions!

• We take names on our list with no deposit.

• We take a fully refundable deposit of $500 to reserve your puppy (AFTER PUPPY IS BORN).

• We confirm your place in line to choose once we receive your deposit.

• Deposits are refundable for any reason.

• Deposits can be transferred to a different litter of the same parents or another agreed on litter.

• Families must choose a boy or girl at the time of sending the deposit.

Picking Up Your Puppy:

• No puppies will be chosen until they are over 8 weeks of age and have been vaccinated and checked by our veterinarian for heart defects twice. Waiting until 8 weeks provides our puppy families with a better picture of their personality and ensures a better match for our puppies and families.

• The balance of payment is due when you pick up your puppy.

• Families can arrange to visit puppies from birth through 8 weeks of age at the availability of Composer Goldens.

• We temperament test and go over puppy conformation. We are available to help families make the best choice for them. We do not choose for our families.

• Your full puppy pack will include:

  • AKC limited registration

  • A training video (USB stick)

  • A training book

  • Lifetime training support

  • Clickers

  • Treat pouch for training

  • Kong

  • A bell for potty training

  • Toys

  • A cuddle blanket

  • A bag of dog food

  • Information on socializing, care, and training your puppy

Puppies At Eight Weeks:

• Raised in the house with the “rule of seven” (early neurological stimulation) and cuddled frequently by many people

• Detailed health passport and microchipped with registration information

• Vaccinated per the AAHA standards and checked twice by a veterinarian

• Heartguard and Nexgaurd started at 8 weeks and wormed regularly

• Dog door trained

• Full puppy packet (listed above)

Started Puppies At 12 To 13 Weeks:

• Four to five weeks of positive training placed on your puppy

• Automatic sit for being a friendly greeter

• At least 16 started actions for your puppy

• Ready to walk into the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class and wow trainers

• Full registration available to approved puppies

• PennHIP at 20 weeks old.

• Eye exam done by certified ophthalmologist

• Echocardiogram done by certified cardiologist

• Embark genetic testing done to check for carrying or having any genetic diseases

• Continued positive training throughout stay and ready to walk into a STAR puppy class or CGC class

• All documented vaccines and vet visits
